NATE MCLEMORE
Director
Mr. McLemore serves as Managing Director of Columbia Pacific Management, Inc. for International Healthcare.
Mr. McLemore has over twenty years of healthcare experience in both early stage companies and large multinational corporations. Most recently, Mr. McLemore helped run the Health Solutions Group of Microsoft, where he managed a global sales and services team, including the entry by the company into the health IT market of China, and the M&A activity of the division, where he led several acquisitions and the formation of Caradigm, a joint venture between Microsoft and GE Healthcare.
Mr. McLemore has a Bachelor of Science from Willamette University and an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley.
Mr. McLemore serves as Managing Director of Columbia Pacific Management, Inc. for International Healthcare.
TK UDAIRAM
Director
Mr Udairam is the Chief Operating Officer of Sheares Healthcare Group, a wholly-owned entity of Temasek.
He has 40 years of healthcare experience in Singapore with substantial experience in the operation and management of hospitals. His career has spanned the full range of healthcare management from operations administration to chief executive of a 790 bedded acute hospital. His role prior to joining Sheares was to manage a regional healthcare system responsible for approximately 1.1 million people. He was intimately involved in healthcare IT, including the rollout of the national Medisave scheme in Singapore and is currently serving on the board of HIMSS.
Mr Udairam is the Chief Operating Officer of Sheares Healthcare Group, a wholly-owned entity of Temasek.
BRAD WILLIAMS
Director
Mr. Williams serves as Vice President of Finance of Columbia Pacific Management, Inc.
Mr. Williams serves as Vice President of Finance of Columbia Pacific Management, Inc., where he manages the finance function for Columbia Pacific Management’s four international healthcare strategies: Columbia China, Columbia Pacific Communities, Pacific Senior Living, and Columbia Africa. Prior to joining Columbia Pacific, he worked at Deloitte where he served companies focused in the venture capital and private equity space, providing consulting services on a variety of federal and international tax issues.
Mr. Williams is a certified public accountant and graduated from the University of Washington where he received both his B.A. and M.A. degrees in Accounting.

ELLON XU
Director
Ellon Xu is responsible for Sheares Healthcare’s China business, driving the development of our strategy in China and working closely with our portfolio companies to deliver performance.
Prior to joining Sheares, Ellon had a successful career in management consulting first with Monitor Group and then with Bain & Company, focusing primarily on healthcare businesses. This was followed by several years leading the greenfield development of a Sino-German joint venture hospital in Shanghai as its founding CEO. Most recently, Ellon was Vice President Strategy at Fosun Healthcare Holdings.
Ellon graduated from Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University with a Bachelor degree in Clinical Medicine. He also holds a Master degree in Business Administration from University of California at Berkeley.
Ellon Xu is responsible for Sheares Healthcare’s China business, driving the development of our strategy in China and working closely with our portfolio companies to deliver performance.
DR. JEFF STAPLES
Director
Dr. Staples serves at the Managing Director of Swire Healthcare.
Dr. Staples is an accomplished results-focused health system executive with nearly 20 years of turn-around management and organizational leadership in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and China, including acute care hospitals, academic medical centers, and ambulatory care centers. A champion for excellence, with a passion for innovation-driven high performance, Dr. Staples excels in strategic planning and execution in large-scale, complex, multi-site health systems and integrating diverse hospitals into a cohesive system. Dr. Staples has been instrumental in two $1B+ IPOs, on the LSE and NYSE.
Dr. Staples has a B.A. from Wesleyan University, an MBA from San Francisco State University, and his MD from Columbia University.
Dr. Staples serves at the Managing Director of Swire Healthcare.
JIMMY LU
Director
Mr.Lu is responsible for the investment and business development of Sheares Healthcare China.
Mr. Lu is responsible for the investment and business development of Sheares Healthcare China. He works closely with portfolio companies and focuses on the excellence of corporate strategy formulation, operational management, investment, and fundraising.
Prior to joining Sheares, Mr. Lu worked for Fidelity (Eight Roads Ventures) and Cathay Capital and accumulated extensive investment experience in healthcare, especially in the healthcare service sector. Before his investment tenure, Mr. Lu worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers and IMS consulting, where he led investment and strategy consulting projects for numerous leading players in both financial and healthcare sectors.
Mr. Lu holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and an MBA from China Europe International Business School. He is also a CPA and ACCA.

WANG ZHONGLIN
CEO – Kaiyi Healthcare
Mr. Wang Zhonglin serves as the Group Chief Executive Officer of Kaiyi healthcare.
He possesses over 30 years of successful management experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. Prior to joining Kaiyi healthcare, Mr. Wang held various leadership positions with multinational pharmaceutical companies across United States and China, where he was responsible for comprehensive business management in regions including New York, mainland China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, serving as President of Greater China.
Mr. Wang holds a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Medicine of China Medical University and a Master’s degree in Medicine of University of British Columbia (UBC) in Canada, Subsequently, he served as a postdoctoral researcher at the Indiana University School of Medicine in the United States.
XU HAIPENG
CEO – Shanghai Kaiyuan Orthopedics Hospital
Mr. Xu Haipeng is the CEO of Shanghai Kaiyuan Orthopedics Hospital, a member of Columbia China. He is in charge of the overall operations and management of Kaiyuan Orthopedics Hospital. Mr. Xu has more than 20 years of experiences in the healthcare industry. Before joining Columbia China, he had assumed Hospital Group General Manager and CEO of multiple hospitals under the Far East Horizon Health Group.
Mr. Xu graduated from the former Lanzhou Business School (now Lanzhou University of Finance and Economics) and holds an MBA from The Open University of Hong Kong.
SHEN ZHE
CEO – Wuxi Kaiyi Hospital
Dr Shen is the CEO of Wuxi Kaiyi Hospital, a subsidiary of Columbia China Group and takes charge of the hospital operations and management.
Dr Shen graduated from Nanjing Medical University in 1987 and has since practicing as a cardiologist for 35 years, operating over 10,000 surgeries. Over the years, he has held clinical and managerial positions from Resident, Attending, Department Chief, Vice President and eventually Hospital President. Before joining Columbia China, he was President of Gaoyou People’s Hospital, a level 3 general hospital in Jiangsu Province.
Dr Shen has achieved numerous awards in his career. He is a recognized 333 Outstanding Talent and a recognized Top Hospital President in Jiangsu.

Mr. Lu Yi is the CFO of the Group, COO of Cascade Living and the Group Chairman of IT Steering Committee.
Mr. Lu has more than 20 years of extensive financial management, supply chain management and risk advisory experiences in various multinational companies. He served as the Vice President of Audit & Compliance and the Secretary of the Board when he firstly joined Kaiyi Healthcare & Cascade Living. Prior to that, he held various finance and business development leadership roles at Honeywell International Inc. He also worked in Deloitte & Touche with assurance and risk advisory experience.
Mr. Lu is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (FCMA), Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and a Fellow Certified Practising Accountant Australia (FCPA Aust.).
Mr. Lu has obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from BI Norwegian Business School (Handelshøyskolen BI) and holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from Shanghai International Studies University.
COCO CHEN
Vice President – Human Resources
Ms. Coco CHEN is the Vice President of Human Resources at Kaiyi Group
Coco has over 20+ years of comprehensive HR management experience, drives HR strategy to support business in multinational companies from different industry . Prior to joining Columbia China, she held the position of HRGM at Cigna & CMB and Cigna International Asia Pacific. During her tenure at Kaiyi group, HR team has won professional awards such as “Pioneering Employer” and “Dingxiangyuan Top 10 Recruitment Team” via Coco’s leadership.
Coco holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Doctor’s degree in Business Administration from the Business School Netherlands . She is also a Director of HR committee in Non-Public Medical Association and holds PCC(Professional Coach) from IFC( International Certified Coach)
STEVEN ZHONG
Vice President – Legal & Compliance
Steven Zhong is the Vice President of Columbia China responsible for Legal & Compliance.
Steven has more than 20 years of Legal & Compliance, experienced in the practices of corporate governance & compliance and M&A, etc. Prior to joining Columbia China, as a partner in law firm, he provided long-term legal & compliance services to various multinational corporations, state-owned enterprises and government agencies.
Steven held a Bachelor of Law from East China University of Political Science and Master of Law from Chicago-Kent Law School. He also held Bachelor of Computer Software from shanghai Jiaotong University.
YU YI
Vice President – Kaiyi Healthcare
Ms. Yu Yi serves as the Group Vice President of Operations at Kaiyi healthcare
She has extensive experience in operational management across various multinational banks and the pharmaceutical industry with over 16 years of professional expertise. Prior to joining Kaiyi healthcare, she held several managerial positions at Citibank, Australia & New Zealand Banking Group, and Mundipharma, covering areas including corporate operations management, commercial excellence, and corporate affairs.
Ms. Yu holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration of Liaoning Technology University and a Master’s degree in International Business of University of Hertfordshire in UK. Additionally, she possesses a postgraduate diploma in Data Analytics of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
